Why we are here today????

I've always heard people say "what we are doing in this planet called as earth? Why are we here? We study for 20 odd years then work, have a family and eventually we all die and what awaits us? So life, is it just a pass time? what's the purpose in our living?" You can keep on adding n number of questions such as these...

So what's the answer to all these... Last Sunday, at the Indranagar Methodist Church they sang this wonderful song answering almost every question... The chorus goes like this:

Because He lives, I can face tomorrow,
Because He lives, all fear is gone;
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living,
Just because He lives!

Matthew 28:6
"He is not here: for he is risen, as he said.
Come, see the place where the Lord lay."

The whole song is as below:
          God sent His son, they called Him, Jesus;
          He came to love, heal and forgive;
          He lived and died to buy my pardon,
          An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives!

            The Chorus

            Because He lives, I can face tomorrow,
            Because He lives, all fear is gone;
            Because I know He holds the future,
            And life is worth the living,
            Just because He lives!

          How sweet to hold a newborn baby,
          And feel the pride and joy he gives;
          But greater still the calm assurance:
          This child can face uncertain days because He Lives!

            Chorus Again

          And then one day, I'll cross the river,
          I'll fight life's final war with pain;
          And then, as death gives way to vict'ry,
          I'll see the lights of glory and I'll know He lives!

            Chorus Again

Because He lives I can face tomorrow and life is worth a living just because He lives!!!
In our living we have to glorify God and we are accountable to our actions!!!

God Bless You!

Big Bazzar's Big trick

Its true that games such as Bumper car and other games are pretty costly at shopping malls. There's one game called as Cupid's at Big Bazzar. The objective of the game is to position a mechanical arm with three fingers over any doll(these dolls are really cute that's why you can find people flocking around to grab one and present it to their ....) inside a glass compartment. All one can do is, position the arm, rest is done by the computer. It drops down and falls over a doll and closes its fingers and grabs it by its head and voila you have the bunny. Easy????

In all my visits to that place I haven't seen anyone win a bunny or even crossed the 50% mark.

The trick is(believe me! Big Bazzar makes quite lot of money out of it... after all its business man!!!!)
The mechanical arm is intelligently programmed in such a way that when the mechanical arm falls on a bunny it doesn't close its fingers immediately. Only after moving a couple of inches from its head it begins to close it fingers. As a result no bunny gets grabbed by the arm. The person who comes thinking that Cupid would help him goes away empty handed :)

Harry Potter Everywhere!!!

Everywhere you turn around you can find one thing or the other related to Harry Potter. I guess I'm one of the very few not bitten by the Harry Potter BUG. But it can be wrong too. I got a chance to read the last chapter(After Nineteen Years) in the final sequel of the Harry Potter series from him.For a person who has not even read a single book in that series, this is one big achievement. I can see you getting ready to comment this post. As you wish!!!
I'm not going to write about who lives or who dies coz I'm least bothered. If you ask me why then this post... Simple...I've no other topics to post on..

Things so unique to Bangalore :)

  • Bus conductors in Bangalore take commission from you without giving you a bus ticket. Read This
  • One can't travel in bus especially after 9pm. The reason, you can find people who are drunk standing next to you and falling on you.
  • No foot-board travel allowed in bus. If you still dare to,you would be crushed by the hydraulics of the automated door.
  • The only place where u can see both sunshine and rain coming up alternatively the most times in a day.
  • The place where people speak so many languages.
  • You can easily guess why bikes here have a steep seat at the back.
